Our partner’s recipe: Christmas mulled wine

ustensiles sur table de bois

Mireille Chénard, Head of Operations at Centre de foires de Québec, has fond memories of the comforting warmth of her first taste of mulled wine shared in good company. She remembers how enjoyable it was, during a 10km snowshoe hike through the forest, to share with friends a thermos of mulled wine that was prepared a few hours before the expedition. On that cold day, the journey to shelter, which was highlighted by giggles and obstacles of fluffy snow, seemed to pass by quickly with this tasty beverage nestled in her backpack.

She shared her recipe for Christmas mulled wine with us. It can be enjoyed with gingerbread or fruit cake, and is perfect for an afternoon outdoors or by the fire after returning from a hike with family or friends.
