Hôtel Manoir Victoria, located in the heart of Old Québec and surrounded by Québec City’s iconic historical landscape, reopened on June 23, 2020, after a major renovation project.

All of the hotel’s meeting rooms and executive boardroom have been completely revamped, with a new decor that is sure to stun guests and event attendees. These highly functional rooms can cater to guests of up to 175 people.

In the main hallway, the hotel now features three distinct areas for networking, a beautiful oversized fresco created by Québec artist Guy St-Pierre. The fresco was actually inspired by a vintage illustration which depicted the hotel when it was located on the other side of the street. The former hotel had walkway that lead to an indoor pool, Turkish, Russian and spruce bathhouse—all of which were designed by the hotel’s original owner, Mr. Benjamin Trudel, a visionary entrepreneur born in Québec City’s St-Roch neighbourhood.

The hotel’s designers also created a muted ambiance with a linear eight-foot fireplace that was integrated within a massive bookcase. Gorgeous pendant lighting adds just the right touch of brightness in the main foyer areas.

While the renovations remained true to the hotel’s classic contemporary design story, many of the changes pay tribute to the hotel’s fascinating 115-year history.

Hôtel Manoir Victoria offers 156 rooms and suites. Located only a five-minute walk from the Québec City Convention Centre, it is a four-star hotel that is home to the reputed Chez Boulay-Bistro Boréal, a restaurant acclaimed for its fare that is made with local products and ingredients from the boreal forest.

For event and meeting planners looking to immerse delegates in Québec’s unique culture, history and lifestyle, Hôtel Manoir Victoria is definitely a top accommodation for Québec City travellers!
